Neal feels a funeral should be a celebration of that person’s life.
Neal feels that funerals should be a tribute to the person and tell their life story.
Relatives and friends are encouraged to be involved and relate stories and events.
Photos, memorabilia and the person’s favourite music should also be featured.
Send your friend or loved one off with a tribute in the style of “This is your life” so that everyone at the ceremony leaves with memories to cherish.
Unless we are rich and famous the only “This is Your Life” moment we will have is our funeral service and unless we have a living farewell sadly we’ll never get to see it.
I always allow a couple of hours when I visit families so that I can gather all of the information to truly capture their loved one’s life, character and spirit to ensure we deliver a fitting tribute.
I then put my twenty plus years of copywriting experience into action to create a eulogy that the deceased would have been proud of.
I regularly have family members come up to me after the funeral service, give me a hug and a kiss and say “That was lovely. Thank you so much”.
Families comment often about how comfortable they feel with me and despite the awful circumstances, how pleased they have been with the whole process.
Thank you so much for the wonderful job you did at my husband's funeral.
Bruce would have been truly humbled by the number of people who turned up on the day.
The wake was bigger than 'Ben Hur'. I have no idea what time I got to bed.
My cousins picked me up the following day and we spent four nights at Airlie Beach which was truly fabulous and a great tonic for me.
I would highly recommend your services to anyone else.
I would like to thank you for the wonderful way you did the service for my father yesterday, you exceeded all expectations and it was perfect. Mum, Karen, Narelle and I were so pleased by the way you spoke of Dad and kept everything going. You set the tone beautifully and we had so many comments on the service and the part you played in it (although 7 grandkids all speaking is a hard act to follow – they did us proud).
We believe that the whole service reflected Dad exactly and it is how he would have wanted us to do it.
Thank you again.

Good Morning Neal,
Thanks for taking on the challenge of the Father's Day Memorial Service, it was fantastic and it's always wonderful to hear families responses afterwards - all feedback was extremely positive, what a great compliment.
The music was very fitting also, can you please forward the names and artists of the music played and please forward your invoice at your earliest. Thanks again
